Thedatacacheisasetofbinaryfileskeptontheharddiskofthe
computerrunningthedataloggersupportsoftware.Abinaryfileis
createdforeachtableineachdatalogger.Thesefilesaresetupto
mimicthestorageareasindataloggermemory,andbydefaultaretwo
timesthesizeofthestoragearea.Whe
nthesoftwarecollectsdata
fromaCR1000,thedataarestoredinthebinaryfileforthatCR1000.
Varioussoftwarefunctionsretrievedatafromthedatacacheinsteadof
theCR1000directly.Thisallowsthesimultaneoussharingofdata
amongsoftwarefunctions.
